If you haven’t noticed, restaurants are the beating heart of today’s culture—and the topic we most often want to talk about on our podcast, This Is TASTE. We love restaurants for their sense of theater, reminding of destinations we’ve loved and transporting us to places we’ve only dreamed of visiting. We also visit restaurants for the chefs’ visions—the way everything from a tasting menu down to a simple sandwich shop expresses a singular focus and personal expression. And of course, most of all, we visit restaurants for the food: exquisite tuna tostadas topped with fresh salsas, bronzed Basque cheesecake, and everything in between.
