Sonya Gropman is the coauthor of The German-Jewish Cookbook: Recipes & History of a Cuisine, Brandeis University Press, 2017. She has a background in visual art, painting and photography, and is the coordinator of Farm Spot, the CSA in Jackson Heights, her neighborhood in NYC.
