red wine vinegar or pomegranate vinegar

Red Cabbage Slaw with Pomegranate and Apples
The pomegranate (or red wine) vinegar base of this slaw is a mouth-puckering palate cleanser.
4-6 servings
- In a large bowl, mix together cabbage, apples, and pomegranate seeds.
- In a small bowl, stir together vinegar and sugar. Whisk in oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle vinaigrette over the slaw mix. Combine well. Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour, and toss before serving.
